By now most of us are familiar with stories of counterfeit medicine, car parts, luxury items and of course money, to name but a few, but there is a plethora of other items out there that are also being faked, copied and cloned. This section gives you links to stories dealing with more unusual items that have been counterfeited. Ranging from fake Smurfs to fake petrol stations and tea bags; some are funny, some more serious, but they all highlight the fact that consumers nowadays have to constantly be on the look out for people trying to cheat them into buying imitations rather than the genuine article.
